PZI JEANS

MAKE YOUR FAVORITE JEANS, GREAT JEANS!

Almost every woman own a pair of “My Favorite Jeans” but can other people tell it when you put them on? Choosing the right jeans is great but what you are putting in them is even better.  Turn your favorite pair of Jeans into a great pair of jeans by doing exercises to help tighten & tone your butt and legs.

Exercises to Help Tighten & Tone Your Butt & Legs

The leg muscles are a large muscle group that require adequate attention to effectively train and reshape. The Centers for Disease Control recommends at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise a week, as well as at least two strength training sessions a week. Perform exercises that target the butt and legs as part of a well-balanced fitness program. Compound exercises incorporate multiple muscles in a single exercise. Select compound exercises over isolated movements to best engage the butt and leg muscles.

Bulgarian Split Squat
The Bulgarian split squat, also known as single-leg squats, successfully targets the glutes and entire leg area. It tightens the butt and remains one of the most effective exercises, according to the American Council on Exercise. Stand in a lunge position with your right leg in front and your left leg propped up on a bench or chair behind you. Squat down in a lunge position until your right thigh is parallel with the ground. Do not allow your right knee to pass your toes to prevent knee injury. Maintain balance and form as you come back up in starting position. Repeat 10 to 12 times on the right before switching to the left side. Try to work up to three or four sets.

Jump Squat
The jump squat not only works the glutes, hamstrings and quads, but it also offers cardiovascular benefits. Stand with feet slightly wider than shoulder distance apart. Keeping your arms naturally placed in front of you for balance, squat down toward the ground. Keep your torso elevated and your back slightly arched to keep proper form. As you come back up, jump up before landing into the next squat. Repeat 15 to 20 times. Aim for four sets of jump squats, taking at least a 60 second break between sets. To add intensity, hold light weights in each hand during the exercise.

Weighted Lunges
Lunges, an effective compound movement, target the entire leg area and also help improve balance. Many variations of lunges can be performed to challenge the muscles and maintain interest. For basic weighted lunges, stand with your right leg in front of you and your left foot planted behind. Hold dumbbells in your hands by your side, or hold in place on your shoulders. Bend your left leg until your left knee is nearly touching the ground and your right thigh is parallel to the ground. Raise back to the starting position and repeat 10 to 15 times on each side. Do not sacrifice form. Reduce the amount of weight or repetitions in order to safely perform the exercise using proper form

Back & Shoulder Acne~ Acne Knows No Boundaries!

Summer is coming ladies and we are working extra hard to make sure we have the perfect beach bodies but what about unwanted “Back Acne”?

Acne on the back is common enough that a new name has been adopted to describe this conditions “Backne”.  It can get so bad that pulling out those revealing backless tops might be out of the question.
The back is the most prevalent area where acne can occur other than the face. Why is that so? The skin on the back is composed of innumerable sebaceous glands producing excessive oil. Most of the time, the back usually remains covered, less reachable, not as easily cleaned, and receives most physical pressure.

Consequently, there are more chances the pores of the skin on the back getting clogged with dirt, sweat, and bacteria.
Another problem with back acne is that it is more prone to forming cysts than on another part of the body. Again, this could be contributed to the same reasons why it occurs in the first place, but acne cysts on the back can be very painful, difficult to treat, and take a long time to heal.  No one want to suffer from acne, no matter where it is – Acne is ugly were ever it appears. Even on the back.
Learn how to get rid of acne on your back so you can enjoy the summer again and pull out those cool, sexy summer clothes.

First thing you can do is….

1.      Get rid of your back packs and heavy over the shoulder bags. Put them away until the back acne clears up. The friction created from these items is very hard on acne prone skin and will make the acne worse.

2.      Second thing to do is regular cleaning. Our backs tend to be neglected, but like our face, the back needs just as much attention. Shower or wash twice a day with a gentle soap or acne soap. The skin of our back is a little tougher than the face so it can be exfoliated mechanically a little more briskly. A washcloth, loofa, or shower scrubby work quite well. Also considering showering after exercise. The build up of sweat can make bacne worse.

3.      Last, add a little added extra punch by applying over-the-counter solutions to your back. There are dozens of brand names to choose from, and all of them will do the job they claim to do provide the instructions are followed.

All these measures will work well to control the severity and extent of back acne but if by chance the acne is not responding to your treatments, might need a little extra help. See your doctor. It might be some other underlying cause that the acne on your back is so persistent. As mentioned above, back acne can easily turn into cysts which will ultimately create a scar.

“My Opinion on a Good Hair Consultation”

So many women put 95 percent effort in choosing an outfit and 5 percent effort into choosing the correct hairstyle.
Let’s face it, every hairstyle is not for everyone.  Choosing the correct hairstyle depends on your facial/head structure, hair type and even your hair condition.
Ok, we see a hairstyle and we love it but when we try it out for ourselves it doesn’t look the same.  Now, your upset with your stylist when he/she only gave you what you asked for.

Before requesting your stylist to perform a random hairstyle you’ve seen, ask for a consultation first and be sure to take a picture of the style with you.  If your stylist is a professional, they should be trained to give you the best advice on what will work best for you however, you (the customer) have the final decision.
A consultation can save you time, money, disappointment and embarrassment that could live on way after you’ve moved on to the next hair do.
