Bishop Eddie Long Yesterday Morning at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church

Bishop Eddie Long stepped out this yesterday morning in front of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church congregation to a rousing standing ovation.  Despite Atlanta news stations reporting last night that media would not be allowed, a few news cameras were spotted in the building and the 8AM service streamed on certain outlets.

Bishop Eddie Long addressed his congregation for the first time since four young men filed suit saying he sexual abused them.  E-Long says he plans to fight the allegations in the court of law and he did not step down as pastor.

Highlights from his sermon yesterday morning: 

-“First of all let me thank you on behalf of my wife, my family.  For all of your support and prayers…”

-“I realize that many have been waiting on me to say something.  My first responsibility is to my family, and then my next responsibility is not to address the world before I address my family New Birth.”

“This is an extremely difficult time for me and an extremely difficult time for my family.  It’s a time when you actually see the veil dropped and who is with you and who is not with you.”

-"This is difficult, difficult for everybody.  This is the most difficult time in my entire life.”

-“This is gonna take just a few moments, and then I’ll say what the rest of you came to hear.  Many are the afflictions of the righteous…but the Lord delivers him out of all of them.”

-“As long as man has to deal in life, you will find that life will be unfair…We are all subject to face distasteful and painful situations."

-“We will not allow the present pain to cause us to abandon our righteous commitment and stand.  Somehow someway we will become better and we will walk through this painful situation.  Not only for my family but also for everyone involved in these allegations.”

-“There have been allegations and attacks made on me.  I have never in my life portrayed myself as a perfect man, but I am not the man that’s being portrayed on the television.  That is not me, that is not me.”

-“By the council of my lawyers they have advised me not to try this case in the media. I am not gonna try this case in the media, it will be tried in the court of justice, and dealt with in the court of justice.  And please understand because that is the only place I feel I will get justice."

-“I’ve been accused, I’m under attack.  I want you to know, as I said earlier, I am not a perfect man, but this thing I’m gonna fight.”

-“I want you to know one other thing I feel like David against Goliath, but I got 5 rocks and I haven’t thrown one yet.”

R&B singer Lyfe Jennings was sentenced to 3 & half years in prison yesterday, Cobb County, Ga. The 37-year-old's troubles stemmed from an arrest in Oct. 2008 .

On the heels of releasing best album of the entire career R&B singer Lyfe Jennings has reached a conclusion to the altercation that took place with his girlfriend and mother of his child Joy Pound in 2008 landing him into prison for three years on Wednesday in Atlanta.

According to reports on the night of confrontation Lyfe Jennings kicked into the door of a house where his girlfriend was and shot off rounds from a 4.0 caliber firearm in the streets as he was leaving her house.

Police located Lyfe Jennings about 70 miles from the house and gave him multiple signs to stop which he shunned perpetually. However, later he was stopped by the cops but he did not agree to undergo a sobriety test.

Lyfe Jennings has been sentenced to three years of prison under multiple charges of misdemeanor criminal trespass, discharging a firearm, felony possession of firearm as well as fleeing as well as attempting to elude a police officer in Georgia.

Rumours that the star was partnering with cosmetic giant Coty for her own perfume were brushed off earlier this year, but now bosses have officially announced the collaboration.

Gaga's first scent is expected to hit shelves in 2012, Coty's senior vice president Stephen Mormoris tells fashion website WWD.com.

Incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie has revealed details behind his upcoming album "Incarcerated".

Incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie has revealed details behind his upcoming album Incarcerated, which will be released as the rapper serves a four-year sentence for drug possession and awaits trial for 1st-degree murder.

Boosie, born Torrence Hatch, was sentenced to prison after police arrested the rapper in October 2008 and found marijuana and a gun in his vehicle.

In June of 2010, as he was serving his sentence for the guns and drugs, the district attorney's office indicted Lil Boosie on 1st degree murder charges, for allegedly hiring gunmen to shoot and kill a 35-year-old Baton Rogue man named Terry Boyd in December of 2009.

Lil Boosie claimed the charges against him were the result of a conspiracy against Hip-Hop music.

“I’m innocent; I’m completely innocent” stated the rapper. “My situation is one that is unjust, unfair and based on an attack against hip-hop and rap as a whole.”

Incarcerated will contain all new tracks that Boosie recorded just days before he surrendered to authorities in November of 2009.

Additionally, Lil Boosie has reconnected with his Trill Entertainment label to release a new compilation CD this October.

The first single is titled "Turn Tha Beat Up" and funds from the projects will go to the legal defense fund for Boosie and the other men that have been indicted.

Finally, a new DVD from Trill Entertainment titled Ghetto Stories: The Movie.

The flick will star Lil Boosie, Webbie, actor Tyrin Turner and Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander.

"Even through these circumstances my family, labels and fans have stood by me and I thank you for that.  My album Incarcerated comes at a real changing point in my life,” Lil Boosie said.
