Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was hit with a $12M lawsuit

P. Diddy is being sued by a woman named Francesca Spero for $12 million. She claims she helped launch the music mogul's career, but was canned from his company, Bad Boy, because she had hip surgery in 2008.

According to the 51 year old’s legal claim, Diddy, real name Sean Combs, was “unsympathetic to her condition” and tried to push her out of the company.  In March 2010, she was fired and replaced by a woman much younger who "lacked the skill set and experience Spero brought to the position".

Her lawyer Laurie Berke-Weiss said: "Francesca Spero opened the door for Combs' career and, now that she's 51, he showed her the door at Bad Boy."  Spero says she first met Diddy in 1998, but didn’t start working for him until 10 years later when she helped him sign new song writers, get music clearances for corporate endorsements, execute Bad Boy's $38 million deal with Warner Brothers and produce the MTV reality show Making the Band.

However, according to her lawsuit, after surgery to treat a hip misalignment, he allegedly said she earned too much money for "someone who could no longer keep up with his fast-paced lifestyle" and fired her.

Got Damn it! Say it Ain't So!!!!!!!!!!! Rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny arrested late Wednesday on drug possession charges?

Rapper T.I. and his wife were arrested late Wednesday on drug possession charges after sheriff's deputies smelled marijuana coming from their vehicle during a traffic stop.

Sheriff's deputies pulled over the Atlanta-based rapper, Clifford Harris, 29, and his 36-year-old wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, about 10:30 p.m. at 9255 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.

"During the course of the traffic stop, deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle," L.A. County sheriff's officials said in a statement.

"A narcotics investigation ensued," during which T.I. and his wife "were found to be in possession of a controlled substance," the statement read.

They were taken to the West Hollywood sheriff’s station and booked on drug possession charges.

Sheriff's officials did not specify why the two had been pulled over and what specific drug they had.

T.I., a multiplatinum rapper with such hits as "Whatever You Like" and "Dead and Gone," is on probation after serving seven months in prison on weapons charges. He was released earlier this year.

His album "King Uncaged" is set to release this fall.

Cottle, an R&B vocalist who sang in the group Xscape, has starred in the BET reality series "The Tiny & Toya Show."

Harris and Cottle each posted $10,000 bail and have been released, sheriff's officials said.

Kimora Lee Simmons Fired from Baby Phat! Was she done dirty? What do you think?

Kimora Lee Simmons was “unceremoniously dumped” from Baby Phat, sources close to the ex-model said of her abrupt exit from the clothing company she founded with ex-husband Russell Simmons. Sources said Simmons is mulling a possible lawsuit against owner Kellwood. “She was blindsided that Kellwood fired everyone,” said one. But another Baby Phat insider it could have been a way to slash costs: “Kimora was going over-budget. She’d pay herself a fee to be in the ads, plus she paid her children fees to appear in ads. It costs thousands of dollars to airbrush her because she’s a size 10. Plus, they spent a ton of money on body doubles. They would shoot another model in the clothes, and take Kimora’s head and put in on her body.” Kellwood had no comment.

Faith Evans has a New Reality Show & CD on the way. Listen to her two new singles....

It’s been a minute but my girl Faith Evans is coming back on the scene! I’ve always loved Faith’s music and I’m sure that I will love her reality show as well.

It’s been reported that she will be staring in her own reality show ‘It’s About Faith’. This reality show series will be followed by the songbird’s 6th album, on her Prolific Music Group imprint, which is distributed by E1 Music.

Listen to her new single ‘Everyday Struggle’ which her samples her late husband’s song originated from Biggie Smalls’ ‘Ready To Die’ album which was released back in 1994. The independently released ‘Something About Faith’ will drop in stores on Oct 5th.

On Another Note……..

The Grammy winning singer/songwriter was arrested at a DUI checkpoint near Marina Del Rey in Los Angeles, California on August 22nd, 2010 and was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor drunk driving. She was held for approximately four hours before being released. This is not the first time she has been arrested. Back in 2004 Faith and her record exec husband Todd Russaw, were arrested for possession of marijuana and cocaine. The two were taken into custody at a checkpoint in Atlanta, Georgia and both spent 13 weeks in an addiction treatment program.
